About the game
Heroes of Ether (H.O.E) is an physical PVP strategy card game. Buy, sell, or trade your playable cards. The game is based on the H.O.E universe (check out The Legend here) which includes a range of playable characters. Follow us on an action-packed journey of strategy, trolling, and fun.
Rules - may your strategy be as good as your luck
Heroes of Ether is a turn-based game in which playable characters play one against the other. The main objective of the game is to obliterate your opponent´ s heroes by reducing their HP to zero (0). Each character has an attack value, health points, and a special ability. Combining these attributes with special buffer cards may you utilize the best strategy available to you to outwit your foes and obtain glory.
About the cards
Card Variety
There are various types of cards that serve different purposes:
Heroes (Characters): The main protagonists of the game and The Legend. Every aspect of the game is centered on the heroes. They are the main damage dealers, and the ones you want to maintain alive. If you want to learn more about the heroes click here.
Buffers: Cards to support your heroes and your strategy. These surprise cards may enhance your heroes stats or inflict damage on your opponent. 
Weapons: Yes! Heroes will wield weapons! From Katanas to slingshots and “swords of light” wink*. The spirit of H.O.E is to bring a variety of weapons from the vast universe to a single place, all to enhance your battle capabilities.
Mystery: A sometime-to-be-announced feature. It will serve a role in your strategy
and influence your hero’s capabilities.
Card Tiers
Not all cards have the same level of attributes or value. Some Heroes and Weapons will be stronger than others. That being said, do not worry, H.O.E is not a pay-to-win game. All matches will be ranked so you will play with people with similar decks (unless you are up for a challenge), and with the right strategy, it is possible to win against higher tier Heroes.
H.O.E has 5 tiers of cards:
Common cards: These strong and noble heroes have stood out so much that the gods considered them worthy of possession. Do not be fooled by the “common Tier”, they are strong enough to face their foes.
Advanced cards: These are experienced fighters that have encountered numerous battles. While they are still honing their abilities, they are considered the “high rankers” of the land. Beware, they can beat the crap out of you! 
Elite cards: The cream of the crop. They are masters of their domains and aligned completely with their elements. Born prodigies who have polished their skills to the max. 
Legendary cards: The mighty, the kings, the demi-gods, only the most powerful Heroes from the universe are part of the legendary tier.
World-Class cards: These are extremely rare cards that are not for sale. They will be available as prizes for specific events. Only 3 Heroes will be part of the World-Class tier. They rank at the same level as the gods.
